Step 2. Add your comment on the Wall with what it is about Dark & Day that interests you! Is it the epic fantasy v. scifi style? Like the YA genre? A particular character? (like Jono? Commander Grail? the Sage of Ages?) or a particular art work? (Tyler Edlin’s City of Eies? Andrew Hou’s Withering Mark cover? Robert Kim’s Jono at Al Jebra? Lokman Lam’s Grown up Keiko?)

Fair point - but I like to think that Dark & Day adds a unique spin to that classic formula. The story (and series) is actually a lot about deconstructing classic memes and figuring out the truth behind belief.
yes and no. It's about the false dichotomies in life (as symbolized by the clash of Dark v. Day - two words that are very close, but have opposite meanings).
In a way, it is my rebuttal to the good v. evil, and pro-'kids go to war'dynamic from The Lion, The Witch & the Wardrobe(which I loved as a kid, but find that good v. evil dynamic often creates more destruction than it solves). The series is a deconstruction of classic beliefs (good v. evil; and the 'fantasy' views of the world) and evolves into a sci-fi exploration of values, and the question of "what do you believe in, when the decision is critical (yes, 'save the world'), but there is not a clear good v. evil.
