Hope you guys don't mind me uploading sketches, just thought instead of doing a tutorial, it'd be more fun showing step by step my design phase at the same time have input from everyone (thanks a tonne btw)

I've decided to go with #3 from last batch and also mix a bit from #6 (Thanks a tonne to all those that voted, I'm surprise the #1 and #3 basically tie)

The concept so far is some god of insect, thus the beetle like shell perhaps, it also serves as the nest of the critters. the inner arm have sharp claw which slices the enemy while attack from the main arms will infect and swarm the wound with insect, penetrating the enemy's intestines,etc.

Now that I've kinda decided to go with the warlord , anyone have any suggestion for a name that might go well with the theme?

Also, I need to still design an ancient weapon to go with the concept. Ideas?

thats awesome dude, for the name I think maybe something like Roccalian (Row-cal-e-an) as for the weapon I dont think he/it really needs one I mean the guy is made of rock and has four arms Id just let him have brute strength. However if I was going to give him a wapon it would be a ruddy great hammer with a head as big as his carapace.

and yea, my suggestion is more of a question.

if this is supposed to be a warlord wouldn't he provide more of an agile body frame, and heavy set also. like... I get that stealth would depend on agility but would a war LORD have agility too. like at least a bit. this guy doesn't seem to be able to run very fast. i mean, he's got a shield for a face right? he's a warlord so he's gotta have an equally strong offense.

if I had a shield for a face I'd make sure I make good use of it. agility would come in handy... like running forward at intense speeds on all fours. tiny back legs aren't so bad, but tiny back legs with even tinier shins. that might be a hindrance.

Hm, can't really think of a name.
As for weapon...Giant battle axe!
And awesome concept.
If/when you color it, do you greyscale it first?

Insects weapons are usually regurgitated or squirted out of there ass, so if you use a natural kind of weapon to that sort it might work... You can have it spew out acid like termites do or even have a stinger kinda base.... Tarantulas usually shoot the hair off there back as a weapon which can be incorporated as well. although spiders are insects but its more or less natural weapon. So in terms of insect weapons i would suggest a more natural way of going on with it instead of giving it like a sword, mace, lance etc.... but thats just my 2 cents.

I agree with sangheili117! I don't think that this rock buddy has to carry a weapon...some "natural weapons" would be cool, give him that "the inner arm have sharp claw which slices the enemy while attack from the main arms will infect and swarm the wound with insect, penetrating the enemy's intestines, etc."-weapon and large strength, big stone fists...and some insects flying out of the nests on his shoulders right into the eyes of the enemy, to blind him/her..

but that's just my opinion =)
