Dragon Heads 2012by *nJoo

Once in a while I look back at my old art and have the urge to redraw it because I see so many mistakes and see if I can draw it better. So I took one of my old piece "Dragon Heads" from 2007 "Dragon Heads" from 2007 and decided to redraw it

I had a lot of fun redrawing the dragons, I decided to not change the design too much just so I can use it as a personal practice to compare.

Can i use these as referances while i do dragon heads? My boyfriend is a dragon and i havn't really drawn any x.x

I like this. The blue one on the bottom left looks so unbelievably full of malice. He must be the type that perches on the mountainside and terrorizes the small villages below, burning their houses and gobbling up their children. I feel like I could write a story just from looking at his face.

I want to ask if I can eventually use these wonderful artworks to make different version of the player's avatar in a game (a dragon, of course !).

Well, not exactly "mistakes" is what I - and probably most - will call it...
It's rather... a change of style.
This is softer, and holds more fade in colors, while the other stands stronger and tougher.
That is because the colors are rougher and they have more parts sticking out like stalagmites.
It is that too, why I like the old one better, but these versions might befit a different story and personality better.
Who knows, in the way you see them, they might actually look better to me too.
