To be more specific, anyone that's very experience with Tumblr or whatever code they use for their theme?

I'm looking for someone to help me build a custom theme or rebuild from an existing one,etc.  If there's any freelance programmer or anyone that's experience with it that can help lemme know!  Thanks!!

What's a better place then to ask for random questions then DA

So here I am, I've been thinking more and more seriously about getting a puppy, but I'd like to ask all your dog lovers/hater for advice so I have a better idea of what I'm getting myself into.

I'm thinking of getting a pug, cuz they just look so funny, and I could use a buddy around the house.

So just how hard is it to take care of a puppy?

For those that got one, are they awesome for keeping you company or how would u describe your life before and after getting a dog?

Any words or advice to get me more advice before getting myself into something I can't turn back from

Well it's been a long time since I really updated my DA, thanks for everyone that haven't forgot about me.  I've been really busy with work.
My day job has been getting really busy, it's finally hitting production phase.. after 2 years of preproduction almost!

First of all, I'm going to try to launch my first book this year.  


It'll include a lot of the works I've done for COW, and I'll be doing this book in the recent cell shade style that I've been doing (I'll do a seperate book for the painted work down the road) Still looking through few option regarding the publishers,etc, if anyone knows of any info in this area let me know too.  If anything I'll self-publish it ;D

Basically it'll be more focused on concepting and ideas, in a month or so, I'll probably make a Journal for everyone to just throw me any ideas for monsters for each letter.
I'll probably aim for 5 creature per alphabet - B - Brutal monkey dweller, Brainless cave crawler,etc,etc
Basically whatever random combination of words you can find I'll put a concept towards it and perhaps go through the thought and concept process.etc.

Anyways keep an eye out for that~


I'll be updating my website Andrewhou.com finally, it's in the process, as well as creating a new website for creatures, it'll slightly be revolved around a theme to make it a bit more interesting.

I've always loved doing monsters and creature but for some strange reason never really focused myself into it, and this year it'll be one of my focus


I'm looking for some talented miniature sculpter to build miniatures of the monster concepts/creatures.  If anyone knows of any good sculpters or knows anyone that's free for work,etc please lemme know!  Greatly appreciated!


I've been a bit more quiet in terms of the online community last year, and this year, once I tie up a few more loose end this month on stuff I need to do, hopefully I'll be doing a lot more personal work and creatures design and posting on DA,etc,etc

Perhaps start up on Rock-off concept contest again soon!

Ok I never advertise programs,etc or anything, I'm a software/gadget nuts and lately I've lately been using Dropbox, and while I can't help but to praise how awesome it is.

It's basically a computer to computer file sync program but much more.  There've been a lot of similar program, even windows had one, but none that came close to Dropbox IMO

Basically to give an overview, it'll set up a directory in one computer and whatever u throw in there will be uploaded to the server and sync across any other computer that is set up.  For those that uses USB, or transfer file from work to home or computer to computer, it's extremely useful.  I haven't even touched my USB key for a while.

The way it syncs file is EXTREMELY fast (I have no idea how they even do it so fast）

Other cool features that makes it top notch:

It saves the files online so you can access it anywhere with the web interface.  Good for portfolio, and all kinds of files, like... contact...anything.

File Syncing- Let's say you have a 1000KB JPG file, and you edit it a bit and resaved, instead of reuploading/syncing 1000KB, it'll automatically find the difference and only upload like... 15KB and sync.
More stuff you can use the sync for would be small programs that has a database, for example I　have a program that I store all my contact with, and I use to have to carry it on USB and only edit that so all my contact stay in place.  Now I　throw it into Dropbox and it just syncs with all the computer,etc.  It works with doc files, excel,etc

File sharing - Ok, let's say you need to send your friend a bunch of MP3, instead of attaching it to email,etc.  Drag the files into Dropbox directory, it'll sync online, then  you right click the file and you can "get web link" it'll give you a internet link that you can just paste into the email (or msn),etc and they can download the file.  or if it's a JPG,etc.

File sharing 2 - Similar to MSN, you can create folders with ur friends that uses Dropbox and drag files in and it'll sync with their folder,etc.

REVISION HISORY - Ok this was what really saved me, for anything you have in the dropbox, if it's deleted, revised, or ANYTHING, you can recover older versions anytime.  I had a PSD file in the dropbox that I was working on, I finished it, accidentally resized it small and saved.... uh oh.. I had no other copies... luckily with the revision histories... I just clicked and it gave me back an older version that I saved.  It'd work for when PSD crash and it corrupts the PSD file... just get back an older version of the same file!

Best of all it's FREE - You get 2GIG space free.

Either way, this program's super useful, maybe cuz it saved my ass with the PSD, but try it!

I'm looking for someone that is experience and good at making iPhone type icons that's somewhat tool related e.g scale, move, terrain, grid, road (detail later)

I need approx 30 or more perhaps.

Basically something clean and professional looking.  The graphics would probably need to be custom made (doesn't mean it has to be complicated, but just no cut and paste from somewhere,etc)
